I am newly retired and to fill my time and to earn some extra money, I have turned my hobby into a small business.
I started sewing back in the 1980's but my passion was reignited during lockdown.
Making masks for anyone who needed them, I made a couple of steam punk outfits and went on from there.
I have since attended a few bag making workshops and have now created my own patterns.

I always use recycled denim/fabrics and reuse my scrap fabrics to create smaller projects.
Repurposing clothing from local Charity Shops keeps my costs lower.
Being 'Eco Friendly' is important to me and allows me to be even more creative.

I am lucky enough to have a cabin in my garden which gives me space to offer sewing lessons or deliver workshops.
My 'Sewing Service' allows me to offer garment repairs, replace zips, refitting; all at an affordable price.
I also love selling my handmade items at local fairs and events.

Transforming old jeans into trendy shoulder bags is my specialty.
This simple bag is created with patchwork denim. Fully lined with one zipped pocket and one open pocket. The straps can be tied to any required length. Decorated with a cream lace doily.

The sessions are 3.5 hours long and are bookable to for mornings, afternoons and some evenings.
